What we do?
Conquer Cancer is a program launched in collaboration with CAPED to eliminate cervical cancer from Punjab and make it the first cervical cancer-free state in India. The program adopts a three pronged approach of Spreading awareness about prevention and early detection of cervical cancer; Holding free screening camps - Pap Smear tests - for the underprivileged and Facilitating interaction between the medical community to discuss the latest developments & research in the field. Some of the awareness initiatives include; Teal lighting in key locations across Amritsar including Guru Nanak Dev University (GNDU), celebrating Teal Lohri with under-privileged girls, organising Tealathon among others.

Women of Phulkari WOA were felicitated by the Punjab Government for their efforts in fighting cervical cancer on Republic Day 2019
Phulkari WOA was praised by the World Health Organisation (WHO) for their support in illuminating the world in teal on 17th Nov 2020, for the launch of the Global Strategy to Accelerate the Elimination of Cervical Cancer
